The Jeff Davis County Sheriff's Office, detention-center site, county sheriff page, and GDC county-jail listing do not provide an official searchable recent-release mugshot feed in the sources reviewed. That absence matters. A current custody roster cannot be assumed to preserve a photo after release, and no county 24-hour or 72-hour photo list should be presented as if one exists.

A county arrest image and a GDC offender image are not interchangeable. Someone who bonded out from the Jeff Davis County Detention Center may never enter the GDC system. Likewise, a GDC photograph concerns state corrections and is not necessarily the original Jeff Davis booking photo.

A booking photo is an image file, so the final cost may not be the paper-copy rate.

Georgia Law on Jeff Davis Photos
O.C.G.A. 35-1-19 explains why the Jeff Davis County process requires an affirmation. Georgia law restricts a law-enforcement agency from disclosing an arrest booking photograph when the requester will place it in a publication or on a website that charges to remove or alter the image. The statute requires the requester to affirm lawful use, and a knowingly false statement can carry consequences under O.C.G.A. 16-10-20.
The statute does not turn the sheriff form into a general image download. Records staff still apply the request process, lawful exceptions, and cost rules. A person seeking a photo for a legitimate personal or court-related reason should describe the record and comply with the affirmation rather than trying to bypass the county's official channel.

Jeff Davis State Photo Records
The GDC offender search is a separate state source. GDC says photographs, if available, display automatically in search results. The search supports name, physical description, ID, and case-number paths. It applies to state offenders, including some people transferred from county custody into GDC, but it is not a full list of people released from the Jeff Davis County jail.
GDC also warns that its public information may not be complete or current and directs users to verify with Inmate Records and Information. A photograph in a state record should be read with the displayed status and facility information. It cannot show by itself whether a person is still incarcerated, on parole, or discharged.
The Georgia Sex Offender Registry is narrower still. It may display a photo and registry information only for people required to register under O.C.G.A. 42-1-12.
